Oh sacred body,
Oh sacred home,
You are so much more,
Than skin and bone.
A mold of clay,
Filled with water and air,
A vessel of life,
For my eternal soul to share.
I am born,
I am born again.
First in the waters of my mothers womb.
Then from this nourishing cave,
I am pushed into this world of air.
Screaming I take my first breath,
My eyes open,
I am there.
Slowly the body grows,
Slowly the mind knows.
That I am here,
In a world of many.
In a garden full of life.
With so much to taste and explore.
A lifetime is needed,
To fully grasp the meaning.
Earth my bones,
Water my blood,
Air my breath,
Fire my spirit.
And so I become self aware,
Awakening to this light,
Of my own inner star,
It guides me with love,
To the centre of my soul,
From heartspace,
I return to the source.
So grateful for this body,
So blessed to be here now.
Here for a moment,
Here now forever more.
Each day I say my prayers,
With each breath I nourish,
With each movement I control.
This body give me a place,
For my soul to shine,
Like a lantern in the wind,
It protects the light within.
I am the food I eat,
I am the thoughts I think,
I am the words I speak,
I am the actions of my hands and feet.
I am life,
I am love,
An ever flowing fountain of youth.
Slowing down each breath,
Eating only what my body needs,
Moving with grace,
There is no haste,
No rush or needs,
There is nothing to fear,
And with grace I find my place.
Healing comes as I need,
I simple lay and rest.
Attention drawn to the dis ease,
I ask the Angels to help,
To bring healing and light.
So that my body may again be at ease.
I surrender, so I may receive.
Amen
Amen
Amen
